Rowan dug it more than I did。 Though the little discs you get to shake and play with are a bit of a pleasure and a curse; cool shaking movement and sounds that then jam and get stuck under the page sending Rowan into sad frustrated confusion。 I suppose that’s a learning experience for a toddler as well， but I’m not sure it’s this book’s job to teach them about disappointment。
